10 Highest Mountain Peaks in the Philippines

Mt. Apo – Davao One of the most visited tourist spots and the highest mountain in the Philippines. Located between Davao City and in North Cotabato. Apo is also abundant with fruits like “The King of the Fruits – Durian”.

The place is called Mt. Pinatubo. It’s actually an inactive volcano that people visit here in Tarlac, Philippines. People rent 4x4s and ride them up the mountain to the crater. The crater is what people always travel for. You could actually swim in it too. As the pictures could tell, this really is a wonder. When I went there it seemed as though I was in one of those Land Before Time Movies and I would almost imagine dinosaurs grazing the land.

Mount Apo Natural Park in Davao, Philippines

Located 32 kilometers west of Davao City, and the provinces of Davao del Sur and North Cotabato; The 64,053.00 hectares Mount Apo Natural Park is dominated by the highest mountain in the Philippine archipelago at 2,954 m. Although, there is also Mt. Talomo appears to be an extinct volcano in the area, but Mt. Apo, though it is quiescent at this time, has numerous vents producing steam and sulphurous gases.

Mt Pulog - Philippines

Nueva Vizcaya, which is very mountainous attracts visitors to Mt. Pulog National Park. This is the site of the country’s second highest peak.
